Mental Health Grace Alliance Speaker Request Form

Joe Padilla | Co-Founder of Mental Health Grace Alliance (MHGA)

  • Missions and Ministry Background: As a licensed and ordained minister, Joe and his family dedicated ten years to the mission field, spearheading ministry and humanitarian projects in both Asia and Africa. Afterward, Joe served for two years in their mission organization and local church in the U.S., focusing on teaching/training, pastoral missions support, overseeing discipleship school and outreach (US, Asia, Europe), and other various church/ministry activities.

  • Mental Health Grace Alliance (Grace Alliance): Joe stepped down from ministry to support his wife during her severe mental health struggles, assisting her in achieving a remarkable recovery. This experience, with prayerful direction, inspired him to co-found Mental Health Grace Alliance in 2011 to offer similar help to others.

  • MHGA’s Work and Impact: Alongside overseeing the development of the organization, Joe is the primary developer and co-author of all MHGA groups, materials, training, and mental health recovery coaching. Grace Alliance’s program has achieved positive results published in four psychology journals showing participants in MHGA’s program had significant mental health recovery and spiritual renewal, both in the U.S. and war-torn areas. Joe has personally led MHGA groups, trained hundreds of leaders, and coached/consulted hundreds through MHGA’s mental health recovery groups and programs. Today, Joe continues to oversee MHGA and its impact in establishing one of the largest networks of Christian mental health small groups worldwide.

  • Helping Influence Change: With Joe’s unique experience and innovative insights, he has been a featured speaker at various churches/ministries, conferences, universities, and seminaries.
